Our Story
A burden that became a mission.
T&Y Ministries did not begin with a plan to start another organisation. It began with a burden for teenagers and young people.
Young people needed more than meetings and programmes. They needed to know how to live what they believed.
Initially, the desire was simply to create a movement — bringing together young people, churches and like-minded individuals with a common passion to see the next generation follow Christ wholeheartedly.
As the ministry began connecting with people in different places, one question kept coming up: “What do you believe?” It became clear that the movement needed a defined biblical foundation, accountability and a ministry focused specifically on teenagers and young people.
A real-life incident involving a young person who was active in church ministry but struggled to apply faith in a major life decision sharpened the conviction: there was a need to teach Practical Christian Living.
A small group of committed, like-minded people came together, formed a board and began building the ministry around this vision. In September 2014, Teens & Youth Ministries was formally started with three missionaries.
That purpose remains: to help teenagers and young people know Christ, understand His Word and live out their faith practically in every area of life.
